SMS / TEXT MESSAGING AND MOBILE OPT-IN

This is the privacy policy for the A-1 Appliance Repair SMS program. It is the only privacy policy that applies to mobile numbers and SMS consent for this campaign.

We send transactional Customer Care text messages to existing customers who have booked an appliance repair job. Messages include appointment confirmations, scheduling updates, technician dispatch and arrival-window notices, and service status updates. We do not send marketing, coupons, review requests, or newsletters on this program.

Message frequency: 2 messages per booked appointment, plus HELP and STOP replies.
Message and data rates may apply.

How to opt in:

  • By phone: when you book or discuss a repair with our scheduling team, you provide your mobile number and agree to receive appointment texts about that job. We tell you the message frequency, that message and data rates may apply, and that you can reply STOP or HELP.
  • On our website: when you submit a repair request at https://a1appliancerepair.net/contact/, you may optionally check the SMS consent box. That box is not required to submit the form and is not pre-checked.

How to opt out: Reply STOP to any message. We will send one confirmation and then no further appointment texts.

We do not share, sell, rent, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not share, sell, or provide SMS opt-in information to third parties, affiliates, or lead generators. Mobile information is shared only with our messaging provider (Bernard Labs / Twilio) solely to deliver these messages. Consent is for A-1 Appliance Repair appointment texts only and is not transferred to any other brand.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

We collect personal information you provide when you schedule or receive appliance repair: name, mobile number, email address, service address, appliance details, and notes you give us.

We use that information to book the job, dispatch a technician, send the appointment texts you consented to, support the repair, and meet legal, warranty, and record-keeping requirements.

We do not process sensitive personal information. We do not collect personal information from third parties for this messaging program.

We keep your information as long as needed for the job, warranty, and legal requirements, then delete or de-identify it when we no longer have a legitimate need to keep it.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
